Colors
The colors of the rainbow where that of one which cannot be recreated using technology. Nature's work. Such beauty, such irresistable temptation to reach for it. The rainbow seemed to spread so far away. Where was its start? Did it have a end? Or does it last for eternity?
Saturday: Rain pours in
Date: 30 July 2005
I headed over to my online-friend's place today. His name is Alvin, but you can call him Chong. I met him thru the forums. He's same age as me, but in TJC and lives all the way to the east, somewhere near bedok reservoir.
I packed a laptop, laptop charger, 5 DVDs [He asked me to burn some stuff for him] and drawing tablet.
Reason I'm going over is that to learn tablet drawing from him. I hadly touch my tablet. It's been the same corner since I bought it last dec. It's been collecting dust ^^.
I took a train down. Journey took 40mins. Had to stand for the whole journey because there were no seats available.
Met up with him over at bedok MRT station before taking a bus and then a short walk to his place. His room is neat, freaking neeat. Maybe because it's small? I don't know.
Oh, I took a look out of the window and guess what I saw? A bamboo pole with clothes hanging by some branches of a tree below. He said most probably strong winds or something blew it from someone's clothes hanging area. It was so ROLFAMO!
Set aside the extra details, Chong's tablet is cool. It has extra buttons where you can set it to open programs just like the extra keys on a multimedia keyboard. We launched Deleter cg illustrator insterad of photoshop. Chong mentioned that D.C illustrator was like photooshop on steriods. It was much better than photoshop.
He took a fanart he did and started explaining how I should use the tablet. He started of with the colors, followed by some pen and brush tools.
After an hour or so, it was time for practical. He pased me a coloring section from Yakitate! Japan manga. We had to color Tsukino, the kawaii bishoujo. I started off with the skin. He also taught me the usage of shades and highlights. I realised that although photoshop and D.C illustrator were similar, they had many different properties.
Soon it was time to go home. I had dad to pick me up. Was too tired to travel all the way back. ^^
Note: Japanese learning materials will take some time to prepare!

Complexity of a simplistic mind
The repetition of the rain somehow lulled me to sleep. I woke up, hours later. The bright morning sunlight peeked through the day curtains. Looking out of the window, I saw something fascinating. It was a rainbow.
Friday: Day of the planet Venus
Date: 29 July 2005
The class was filled with serious people, fantically trying to solve the problem given. An adult sat at his desk, typing away on his laptop with skill. As he proceeds to enter his code, another adult beats him in time.
I was just 2 seats away and watched the situation develop.I asked the former for help, and he was willing. His name was Keith.
FSP was fun. We applied method headers into the program to help us in solving problems. I took longer than usual as I wasn't really sure on how to apply method headers in. Microphone was with the usual rantings again.
We had a talk on IP law. It was informative, but crappy. However, it hinted me on something.
Japanese lesson was good. I've got 24/30 for my speaking test! w00t! ^^
Yoko-sensei gave us a quiz/spelling test from 「あ」"a" all the way to 「そ」"so". Next lesson would be 「た」"ta" to 「ほ」"ho".
There's a summer festival coming up too.
Details below
konnichiwa. ogenki desuka?
The Japanese Summer Festival will be held on 20 August (Sat) at Changi Japanese Elementary School.
This is good chance to see the Japanese special event in Singapore. You will see many Japanese students and families there. (Some Japanese wear the Yukata: kind of kimono) Ticket is $10 including admission fee and food, drink and game coupon.
You are able to buy the ticket at Changi School on that day. But If you have already decided to go there, I will recommend to buy the ticket from NP in advance.
The closing day for purchase the ticket is this coming Friday. So, if you want to buy, please bring $10 to the class.
You can ask your friends and family whethere they want to go or not.
I am very sure that you can enjoy the festival!
See you on Friday!

I'll be posting some Japanese learning stuff later on ^^.
Rain falls... Sonw falls... Shit drops
The rain falls on the window pane and scars it like a knife. The temperature starts to fall and I cuddle up in my blanket. The repetition of the rain drops makes a "rat-tak-tak" sound.

Their is nothing much to blog today. Yesterday was fun. [Wednesday]
Erene with her usual ranting and stuff again.
COS was okay. We used Knoppix today, linux OS. It's very windows like. I'm DLing Linux now. 600MB of ISO image.
Erene just said "I can predict results you know? Really, I can"
WTF. Like no one really cares.
That's all for now
The world we live in
My thoughts were replaying in my head like a cassette player. I stared blankly to the sky. A wisp smell caught my attention, and before I realised, the crismon red sky had turn darker and soon, it started to rain...
I walked to my usual spot in Jurong East MRT station in my nonchalantly manner. The train soon arrived and people around me postioned themselved in a "Going for war" manner by clogging near the train doors. They were all anxiously wanting to get onboard. Seriously, why do people do that? Either way or another they will get onboard, so why the hell clog there?
Was back at home at 1-ish. Had lunch and then watched Honey & Clover ep 13. Honey & Clover is a neat anime. It's soundtrack is nice.
Took a nap at 1.50, intending to wake up at 2.15. Instead woke up at 3pm instead.
Did usual stuff like hanging out on IRC channel.
I have been sleeping a lot. I wonder why.
Been reading
Rockson's blog. Got that link from Keith's blog. A Singaporean blogger who uses lingistic singlish. His posts are funny.
Also something to share.
Video game crossovers. I had it in my explorer bookmark for sometime. Maybe like months? :D
Oh and check out
clone.Manga. It's a online webmanga.
[NOTE: Please be mentally and physically prepared to view the manga.]Well, that's all for now. It's 12.45am.
This title aren't silly!
The crimson red painted the sky in the dark background, while the trees swayed in ryhme with the howling wind. I stared out of the glass-planed window from my comfortable bed. I started to think....
What am I to do in the future. I've already planned to get to this
animation univerity in Japan. One of my friend's going there the coming Dec. I'll be there in 5 years time. My dream is over there.
It's 2 years per course. 9000SGD for 2 years.
Requirements for the course:
10 years of local studies [In your own country]
And know how to read and write Japanese [Currently mastering]
That's the info I got from my friend. icie says that place is like Todai university [the pestigious Tokyo University]. DOn't know if it's true :p
I got my COS [Computer & Operating Systems] test paper today. Wasn't satsified with my marks. I scored 23/40, a C. I was aiming for <35/40 or so. Damn, got to work harder.
I need to save up cash too. I want to get this
casing. They look neat. Lights and all. Saw a similar model in Sim Lim Square.
Thanks to
Keith for passing the music baton on to me.
Total volume of music files on my computer:
I need to count. It's late. 00:51 now
The last CD I bought was:
I need to check. :p
Five songs I listen to a lot, or that mean a lot to me:
I don't really care. I just listen to h=them.
And now.. I am passing the baton to:
Everyone who reads my blog. This aren't necessary.
All right, that's all for today

Gonna write about the members of a forum I hang out in.

.:22·45·58:.( @icie ): lacus to athrun: you have blue hair, and i have pink hair. does that mean our babies will have purple hair?
icie is a cool dude and all. He's a super-moderator in a forum I hang out in. He's evil, but a clever and quick-thinking dude especially when it comes to Japanese men dream.
Like a sniper postioned in the hidden bushes on high grounds, he prepares his weapon by polishing it, waiting for an opening. Once he sees it, he shoots, killing his prey instantly.
In simpler terms, he is quick in "shooting" back at people. IN other words, his scarasm is 1337. ph34r him. ^^
He has a nice character. Sensitive at times.
He's can be related to Morita [Ref. Honey & Clover]. They have similar characteristics? ^^
Contradiction
Arrrgh! It's 1.29A.M. now! I can't sleep. Maybe because I took a evening nap at 6pm.
I have been thinking about my future recently. What am I going to do in the future. What would my life be? Such curious questions, yet undeniable. To forsake our past and look ahead into the unknown future.
I have already laid out plans for the next 5 years.
-Do very well for my diploma [Top 5%]
-Master the Japanese language
-Finish Grade 8 Piano practical next year.
-Get a eye operation [To correct my degree]
-Get a COM
-Improve my drawing skill
Ok, pretty short list ^^
I also have been thinking about the term/quote "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail"
How contradictory. So does it mean that if i did plan, but did not execute my plan correctly, I will not fail? So if I don't plan what I want to get for lunch, I will starve to death?
Life's mystic leave one to ponder.
By the way, I added a chatbox into my blog. It's all the way down. Sorry about that ^^ I'm trying to move it to the sidebar. Maybe I will ask Keith or Timothy

Nothing much to post.
School was long but okay today. Had computing mathematics in the morning followed by 2 hours of break. Played a bit of DotA and CS:CZ and some random flash game at shockwave and miniclip.com.
COS was in the afternoon. We learnt about command-line [DOS] and GUI [Graphics user interface: Windows].
School ended at 5pm. So I took a cab back to Westwood to get the school flag for a BB CARES meeting. The meeting was totally Boring *with a capital B. Was damn tired as well. Meeting ended at 9.45pm+ and I reached home at 10.30pm+
I'm going to sleep now. Night all
Independence day!
Ok, that dosn't apply over where I live. However, it's Youth Day though.
The winds were blowing heavily, causing the trees to sway continuously in the same direction.
Soon, the raindrops started their descent and everyone headed towards shelther. Roads were flooded, cars driving at a slow 40km/h
Set aside that, I have been trying to complete my personal portfolio, a project which I have to submit on monday [today]. Slept at the wee hours of the morning [erm... 1-2am?] and wake up at 6.30am. -.-||| Gonna have black eye rings soon.
O___
OHere's a screenshot of my home page:

I'm just posting the top part of the page.
Rushed to school in the morning to submit my portfolio online. We have to log into our student ID and all. Everyone was rushing to submit it too.
Blah, it's web publishing class now. I still feel sleepy even after drinking a cup of kohi [coffee]. I need sleep. _._zZzZzZzZ
Will continue to uplooad more pictures and content later, if there are any. ><

Update after lunchI can't stand the microphone
. Asking more stupid questions again.
For example, we were informed that our arrangement for the common test that is in 2 weeks time will be announced in Mel [Mobile e-learning]. Any person would know that it would only be up a week before or so. Microphone, instead, when to check it immediately! OMG. I bet that the lecturers all can't stand her.
Currently in FSP. Fundamentals of Programming. We are now revising the stuff taught from week 3 - 7. I'm aiming for the top 5% of my cohort. Even better, Top 1%. It may seem difficult, but I will never know without trying. I can't slack anymore like I did during secondary school.
Guess that's all for now. :D
