Dreams, one's reality told in a different perceptive

I reached out for that light that was shining. It illuminated the path and shunned away the darkness. I could see it now, the path I was meant to talk. I took a step forward, no ever regretting what I've done.





I have been having weird dreams lately (*not wet dreams you prevy idiots :) ). But dreams of people around me. I have been dreaming since the end of my last paper. Somehow, I feel like Sayuri from "The promised Land"/"Kumo no Mukou, Yakusoku no Basho", being stuck in a parallel world, and not being able to wake up from her coma.

Well, Final Fantasy: Advent Children has been out a few days and everyone's going gaga over it. I give a thumbs up for the graphics, but then again, you should play FFVII to get to know the storyline or you could always pick-up the online walkthroughs. The fighting scenes where top-notch. Tifa's fighting scenes were exemplary. There were some elements lacking from it though.

Well, that's all for now. It's only 9.38am on a Friday morning

Tea, with sugar added in

When out with a friend of mine today. Headed towards Jurong Point. Well, it was kind of a last minute thing and Jurong Point was the nearest Mall for both of us. *no. Jurong Entertainment centre is not a mall.

WE played Drum Mania X. Love Dragon Blade, but i need more practice. Bandjam gave me good practice alright. :p

Played that Police body simulator game too. Friend of mine was teh 1337. Got up to the highest rank. You get 100 bonus lives at that point. Hey, i think that game is good for exercise.

After the arcade, we walked around aimlessly. We got nothing much to do. Headed to Camel Active. A shop that sells expensive clothes. We wanted to get its shirts but decided to go to Bossini instead. 35 bucks per shirt! Compared to the higher price of 50-70ish bucks at Camel Active.

We went to Liberty Market to get some Bacon. I got 200g worth while my friend got 300g of Back Bacon and something else. We went home after that.

Laws, rules that were set

Two bloggers charged under Sedition Act over racist remarks

I'm extremely displeased with what has happened. Two blogers charged under Sedition Act over racist remarks? What the hell.

Racism is wrong, but being charged for voicing your opinion over the internet is wrong? You get charged for it? It's totally stupid. What's wrong with this country. Singapore wants to reach a international standard, but it would never come till people voice out their opinion. I guess the reason why many people don't dare to voice their opinions is because "The government will charge me! I'll get jailed." or "Later police come and catch me how?". I don't know, this may lead to poeple who swear vulgarities or critising the government to be landed in jail.

THe internet is a public place of information etc. No one is governing it. Why should Singapore be taking such a stance to these two bloggers? They may have posted racist remarks, but who are you to charge them? These two bloggers use their blog to voice their opinion. Look, it's VOICING their opinion. Charging them is definetely power abuse.

I'm still young, and maybe still inmature to understand the reason they get charged.

Dreams, the aftermath of one's hopes

What are dreams?

It was a dream about my class
We were all taking this course in a some hi-class building

One day, we got bored and decided to play a prank to some workers renovating the next class by moving their tools to the staircase
We split up into groups of 3 at the staircase. [one of those spiral ones]. i was with a girl... [presumely someone from my childhood]. We had to escape from the workers who where chasing us. There was a mad policeman who wanted to kill me using 2 pencils and a lighter. He created spark by rubbing the pencils together [Same as how you create spark by rubbing two rocks/stones together] and then dipped it into the lighter and rushed to me straight like a suicide bomber.

There was another policeman [Good guy] who came up and help us escape by shooting at the center of the metal railing, spliting it into two. He explained that it was a method used to fill in missing parts of metals in railings.

Somehow teachers came in and they were sitted in a round table and started discussing some stuff. The girl and I joined in. There were talking about parents, teachers and stuff like that. Thre was a student nearby too, and he looked kinda familiar.

I woke up after that. :(

It's a weird dream and i made a bad recount of it.

Symphony

Life can be though of like a score. With major and minor scales, sharps and flats, and some ornaments and embellishments along the way.

Major scales are usually smooth, with pleasant effects. minor scales have a 'negative' effect. Making un-rhymetic sounds. Sharps and flats are to 'add-on'/increase or decrease the effect and ornaments & embellishments are like the sudden twist and turns you encounter in life.

What is life anyway?

Is it that of what I have been living for the past 17 years? Slogging away just to get that degree/Masters/what-not OR is it something of a experience we face.

Do we spent our entire life working? Or do we do something useful instead? Like helping those who where affected e.g Katrina.

Sometimes we feel like a pawn in a chess-set, being controlled. We can also be a free as a bird, reaching heights of unbounded infinity.


What is our purpose here?
